Destination Wedding Near Delhi: Westin Sohna, Karma Lakelands, and Heritage Village Manesar Costs

There is a version of the destination wedding that skips the airport entirely. An hour south of Delhi, along the Sohna road and around Manesar, three resorts run full resident weddings, guests staying over, functions across lawns and courtyards, the whole away-from-home arc, without a single boarding pass. Westin Sohna, Karma Lakelands, and Heritage Village Manesar are the properties we field the most questions about, so here are the numbers as honestly as the published record allows.

Westin Sohna Resort & Spa is the polished flagship of the belt: roughly 90 rooms and villas, about 104 bedrooms in all, housing around 210 resident guests, with nine event venues handling 50-400 people. Per-plate catering starts around ₹4,000 across two sources. The hotel publishes no wedding rates, but one detailed planner estimate from 2025-26 prices a full two-night, three-day buyout with meals at about ₹90 lakh plus taxes, and roughly ₹1.3 crore plus taxes in season once decor, planning, and entertainment are included.

Karma Lakelands, spread over 270 acres of golf course and forest, is the rare venue that publishes its own arithmetic. The destination package runs about ₹50 lakh per day for all 90 rooms, covering stay, three meals, and venue, with rooms at roughly ₹17,000, plates at ₹4,800 vegetarian and ₹5,100 non-vegetarian, and decor from ₹6 lakh. By the venue's own package math, a two-day resident wedding implies roughly ₹1 crore and up before taxes. Capacity reaches 500 seated and about 1,500 floating.

Heritage Village Resort Manesar is the volume play, and often the value play. Its 150 rooms are the largest verified inventory of the three, and event capacity runs from 100 to 700 guests, which matters enormously for the classic large Delhi list. Published per-plate estimates spread from ₹2,500 to ₹4,000 depending on source. We will be straight about the gap in the record: no reliable published figure exists for total wedding costs here, so any all-in number you are quoted deserves scrutiny and negotiation.

Read together, the three properties form a ladder. Heritage Village takes the biggest lists at the gentlest per-head rates. Karma Lakelands sells a transparent packaged buyout with genuine acreage and eco-resort character. Westin Sohna offers the most polished rooms and service at the highest total. All three run well below fly-out destinations: Udaipur palace buyouts start at ₹1.2-2.5 crore and run past ₹6 crore, before anyone has bought a flight. The savings a spreadsheet does not show are often the decisive ones. No flights for 300 guests. No lost luggage carrying lehengas. No travel-day attrition among grandparents who would not manage an airport but will happily manage an hour on the expressway. Vendors truck in from Delhi at city rates rather than destination markups. And if something is forgotten, it is sixty minutes away, not a flight away. For many families, that is the whole argument.

The usual honesty applies: apart from Karma Lakelands' published package, these are planner-published estimates from 2025-26, not hotel rate cards, and quotes move sharply between a July date and a December one. 18% GST is typically extra on everything above, which adds ₹15-20 lakh to a ₹1 crore wedding. Peak-season Saturdays in this belt book out a year ahead, so the good dates carry premiums the averages conceal.
