Calculator questions, answered
How accurate is a wedding cost calculator?
Treat it as a starting range, not a quote. Our calculator uses indicative per-guest benchmarks from the weddings we plan, but real costs move with season, venue tier, menu and production choices — sometimes by 30–40%. It will tell you which order of magnitude you are in; a first conversation with a planner turns that into a real number.
What does a destination wedding in India cost per guest?
As a working range across our portfolio: roughly ₹55,000 per guest all-in for Goa, ₹68,000 for Udaipur, and ₹80,000–95,000+ for Thailand or Dubai once travel and five-star rates are included. These are luxury-tier indicative figures covering venue, food and beverage, stay, décor, hospitality and production — quotes vary with dates, and 18% GST is typically extra.
What is the biggest lever in a wedding budget?
Guest count, by a distance. Every destination-wedding guest multiplies three costs at once — rooms, nights and plates — so fifty fewer guests routinely frees more budget than any vendor negotiation will. Venue tier is the second lever: the same guest list can differ three-fold between a boutique heritage property and a palace hotel.
Will you tell us the real number before we commit?
Yes — that is the point of our first conversation. Tell us your cities, months and rough guest count, and we will give you an honest all-in range including the taxes and line items most quotes leave out. No commitment, no pressure; families deserve the real number before any advance is paid.
