Why we exist
We never started because we loved weddings.
We started because we saw what weddings were doing to the people at the heart of them.
Growing up, we watched families carry more than they should have had to. We watched parents take on responsibilities that were never theirs to hold. We watched brides spend their own wedding managing it, rather than living it. And what stayed with us was that everyone seemed to accept this as simply how weddings were.
Years later, through our work in hospitality, travel and celebrations across the world, we discovered something that would become the foundation of Dream Weddings: the real weight was never the wedding itself — it was everything surrounding it. The sense that there was nobody you could truly hand things to, and fully trust to carry them.
So we built Dream Weddings around a simple belief: every bride deserves someone she can count on.
Someone who stays calm when situations become complicated. Someone who takes ownership when others step back. Someone who finds solutions when nobody else can see a way forward. Someone who is there, no matter what.
The wedding that defined us
When trust mattered more than a timeline
A month before the wedding, an event entirely beyond the couple's control brought everything to a pause. For eleven days, the wedding stopped mattering — the people did. We stood beside the family through what needed to be faced, and returned the advance without being asked.
Eleven days later, the situation resolved — with just fifteen days left. So we started from scratch. And fifteen days later, they were married. Years on, they attend our weddings and join us for brunch. The wedding ended; the relationship didn't.
