Is a destination wedding right for you?
Destination weddings promise magic and deliver logistics: flights, visas, rooming, transfers and a venue you can't simply drop into on a Saturday.
The honest question isn't whether it's beautiful — it always is. It's whether the trade-offs suit your family. Smaller, more present guest list; higher per-head cost; a weekend that feels like a holiday for everyone, not just the couple.
If the answer is yes, the key is to model the true cost early and hand the logistics to someone who does this for a living. That's exactly where we come in.
Common questions
What is a destination wedding?+
A destination wedding is one held away from the couple's home city, with guests travelling in and staying for two to four days of functions at one venue, usually a resort or palace hotel. The host covers rooms and meals for every guest, so the list is smaller and the weekend feels like a holiday for everyone, not just the couple.
Is it cheaper to do a destination wedding?+
No, not in total. A Delhi banquet is a ₹999–4,500 plate per function; a destination wedding is ₹60,000–80,000 a head, because the host buys rooms, two days of meals and transfers for everyone. Our rule of thumb is two to four times a home-city event. It only looks cheaper when the guest list shrinks.
