How to vet wedding vendors from another city

When you can't attend a tasting or a sample shoot, trust becomes the hardest thing to find — and the easiest thing to get wrong.

Before signing anything, ask every vendor the same set of questions: real recent work at your venue, what's included versus extra, their backup plan, and their payment schedule. The answers separate professionals from portfolios.

Then compare like-for-like on one sheet. A beautiful feed tells you nothing about how a vendor behaves at 11pm on a wedding night — references and contracts do.
